Tulkaram Club Background:

On 20 January 2025, Stephen Redmond representing GAA Palestine in Tulkarem met with the Tulkarem Municipality, who expressed their full support for the club’s efforts to promote Gaelic games in the region. In a significant gesture, the Municipality offered a parcel of land to help establish a dedicated GAA pitch locally in Palestine, marking a historic step for the development of the sport locally. The club, led by Mohammed and Alaa, continues under extremely challenging conditions on the ground, driven by their commitment to community engagement, youth development, and cultural exchange through sport. This meeting represents an important milestone in strengthening ties between the local authorities, the community and the GAA movement in Palestine.
